- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price by the job, not by the hour. In my experience this pricing structure is fair and simple to all parties involved, and avoids complications (jobs taking longer then they should and the client having to pay for it which is unfair).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first set up an appointment for us to meet and discuss your project in detail. Then at the appointment we walk through exactly what needs to be done. During this time I usually take measurements, notes, and pictures, so that I can refer back to them as I create my estimate. I then email a detail estimate with very fair pricing. If it all sounds good, we then agree on a Start date for your project, and we get rocking & rollin. I keep everything in writing and I like to keep open communication with clients.
