Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Interview several appraisers regarding their experience and training and ask about the level of their license. State Certified "General" is the highest license level awarded by the State of Florida ~ State Certified "Residential" is a lower level.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Some appraisers have assistants or trainees do most or all of the work ~ make sure you have the most experienced appraiser personally inspecting the property and preparing the appraisal report start to finish. Quick and cheap often don't result in a thorough and accurate appraisal.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. How much experience do you have in appraising this type of property ? Do you include any extra data to support your value conclusion ?
