We are a multi-qualified, technical and field-experienced company that brings this knowledge to the project by working together with our client, designers (architects/engineers) and talented/reliable/vetted subcontractors and suppliers and ultimately reducing costs, lost time and frustration.
We are former students of Architecture (AA) and Construction Management (BS) who currently hold active licenses as both a FL State General Contractor (CGC062263) and a Standard Building Inspector (Structural - BN4628). Having spent four (4) professional years serving the City of Miami Beach as a building inspector, we will offer up our permit history on our previous projects to compare with our competitors.
Read through some of our blogs to further your knowledge of our skill set, knowledge of the trade and most importantly, how we deal with our clients to achieve satisfaction.
Zia Construction, LLC.'s motto is to be "humble enough to listen and creative enough to deliver".
A. If I were a customer seeking construction services of any kind, I would do my due diligence in preparing myself. By that, I mean having drawings prepared and have self performed my research on specified materials, finishes and/or fixtures/appliances. This is the only way, that I know, to get everyone (competing companies) to bid "apples to apples" as a base bidding platform. Otherwise, you get responses like: "i didn't know that you wanted that", "you said you wanted", etc...
A. We take ownership of our work not only from the finished product standpoint, but throughout the process. You can reach us (within reason) 24 hours/day via voice/text message with responses to concerns, ideas or emergencies.
A. From my earliest memories growing up in NY, my mother would always send me to watch the super (building superintendent) who was repairing something in our apartment. She wanted me to witness a technician troubleshooting and resolving issues. This probably led me to my junior high school experience of registering for wood shop (made a fabulous dog house) and metal shop. Subsequently, in high school, I took up construction drafting, then pursued architecture for two (2) years, followed studying and passing both my General Contractor & Structural Building Inspector's exam, the first time, and then finishing up this discipline with my BS in Construction Management.
