About
My work as a Fitness Expert stands out from others because I take a unique approach to fitness. I believe that fitness is as much of an art as it is a science. The science is the foundation; anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, kinesiology, nutrition and the research that is being done in these areas to advance our knowledge. The art is taking that science and applying it to people in a way that gets them to lose body fat, tone their muscles, improve their function and make them feel great...in other words RESULTS! Everyone has different goals and needs, I design a tailored program to deliver the results you want. I love the fact that my job is to help people look better, feel better, and live better. It's such a positive feeling to do this as a profession. Every time I walk away from finishing a session with a client I feel great that I helped someone. I also love the way information is increasing exponentially. As a fitness professional, you should never be bored with so much to learn!

Ted Ryce is excellent. He understands exactly what I am looking for in a trainer and is helping me to achieve my goals. He has a good approach and I am very much enjoying my twice weekly workouts. From the practical (he shows up on time) to the philosophical (he explains the theory of what he wants me to do), Ted is 100%. Highest recommendation.

i started training with ted ryce at age 60. i never played any sports or exercised regularly until then. however i had put on weight and was beginning to experience some back problems so finally succumbed to the inevitable. i am now 71 and ted has led me through the years, getting the weight down and keeping the back more solid and pain free. he does a lot of research and changes our sessions based on that and whatever my body needs at the time. i would highly recommend him to anyone of any age.

I've regularly excercised my entire adult life, including weight lifting, boxing training, as well as playing soccer at a very high level for years, so naturally I thought I knew a lot about excercise (I'm a 28 year old male). Training with Ted Ryce expanded my knowledge greatly as he showed me numerous excercises and techniques that I've never seen before, all instructed in a professional, straightforward manner so that I got the results that I wanted and then some without wasting my time. Specifically, Ted has helped me in preventing and recovering from injuries while focusing on my balance and strength in areas I never thought of training, as well as helping me with my diet, both of which were of great value to me. If you want a trainer who is knowledgeable, professional, and invested in you the customer, then look no further than Ted Ryce (I've trained with Ted on and off from 2004 to 2011 - I'm no longer living in Miami Beach).

If you built the perfect personal trainer in a lab, you'd probably end up with Ted. He's the perfect combination of encouraging and demanding--like your mom, if she studied fitness obsessively. One thing I noticed about training with Ted is that he really notices what is going on with you during the exercise session and tailors it to your needs. Needless to say, he's obsessive about fitness and his knowledge level is off the charts. But he's able to convey that knowledge in a down to earth, non-jargony fashion. And while he's happy to explain, the showing happens more than the telling. If you don't already know, Ted has been training people for a dozen years, including celebrities like Ricky Martin and Robert Downey, Jr., but plenty of ordinary folks like me and you. The exercises are simple but based on cutting edge training techniques. You could call them "sneaky tough" exercises. I recommend Ted without reservations. You'll definitely get great results and start building a foundation for a lifetime of great exercise habits with Ted as your trainer.

Ted has been helping me a lot with my fitness goals. I'm a workaholic and it's hard for me to fit the exercise routine in my schedule. Ted gave me a lot of options and now I've been able to work out everyday for 25 minutes. I'm in great shape and feeling way more productive after Ted's fitness coaching.
