- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing usually depends on the scope of the work and will vary depending on the clients requirements. However for non-commercial, private/personal shoots for athletes or fitness professionals, I have a fixed rate of $550 for upto 3 hours on location with 8 edited images included.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First step is initial communication and ascertaining what the client requires from the shoot. Next (if it has not previously been decided) a quotation will be provided and agreed on. Once rates and a schedule are agreed, the planning stage will begin. On the day of the shoot I will always be either on time, or early. The client or creative director and myself will discuss the plan, location, potential shots and clear up any last minute questions or concerns. Post shoot; a digital proofing gallery will be delivered to the client and they will be required to choose from the images to select those they wish to be edited. The number of edited images will have been agreed on in advance.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am mostly self taught with some time as a student at Miami Dade College and later in my career as a guest speaker on the same campus.
