Introduction: Over the past five years, I have worked in the EMS field.
I have performed first aid and CPR in live situations many times. Learning how to save someone's life is one of the most critical skills you can learn. It could mean the difference between life and death if you know how to respond to an emergency.

I remember half way through the class he involved us at breaks and asked if there was anything we didn’t understand like how to even check for a person without a pulse and the consent then going into the half when we did rhythms was definitely a good refresher.
