The tabla, one of the most versatile and intricate hand percussion instrument has it's origins in North India. I have more than 10 years of experience teaching tabla and have been playing since I was 5 years old. The first lesson is free. The lessons will also include supplementary notes and audio material for practicing at home and the lessons will take place not more than once a week. I expect you to practice during the rest of the week before the next lesson. The rate although for an hour, some of the initial lessons may go to upto 1.5 hours at no extra charge. The rates mentioned are for lessons at my place in Coral Gables. The rates will be slightly different for lessons at your place.
