Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Criminal Felonies, Misdemeanor and Traffic Citations

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Get a few different opinions from different attorneys. If the attorney does not want to give you at least a few minutes on the phone without wanting to charge you, it may be because his first interest is in the money, and not his desire to adequately represent you.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. The court system is not as bad as people think. Most cases have reasonable solutions and in the majority of the cases, the clients are very satisfied. The best approach is to be honest with clients so that they do not have unreasonable expectations, while explaining the best and worse case scenarios and reminding clients that there are no 100% guarantees.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Clients should bring with them all charging documents, i.e., traffic tickets, arrest reports, etc.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I will take the time... before, during and after the case is over to answer any questions clients may have. I understand that for many clients receiving a traffic citation is an unpleasant experience and I will work and take the time to reduce any anxiety the experience may have caused.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The change in expression on my client's faces after they realize that there is a solution to their problem.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Will I get points on my license and do I have to go to court. In most cases, there will be no points on clients liecenses, and in most cases, clients do not have to go to court. However, there are exceptions and I will be happy to explain the exceptions to my clients at an office visit.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. My favorite story is really about many clients. Many of my clients come in for an interview and tell me that they have not slept in days. After I explain the process, and waht needs to be done to manage their case, they ALL tell me they feel so much better than before they came in for the interview.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Its not all the glamour some clients think it is. There are many late nights reading case law and statutes and preparing for motions and trials. But this is the profession I chose and I can trully say that I am as enthusiastic about my profession today, as I was the first day I started 13 years ago.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I saw a documentary about the New Hampshire penal system and what innocent people had to do to prove their innocense after they had been convicted of a crime they had not done.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. Jobs that I'm proud of is when I truly believe that my client did not commit the offense he is charged with and I am able to have the case tossed out of court

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Yes. The Florida Bar requires that we complete 32 hours of continuing education every three years in order to be in good standing with the Bar

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Many municipalities are installing red light cameras at intersections.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. Monday through Fridays are filled with trials, pre trials, filing, depositions, interviews, etc. It is the cases and clients that make the days interesting.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. Traffic tickets are $60.00 online. Other legal matters depend on the type of work and would require an interview or office visit.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. There must be passion and truly great lawyers are great people first.

Q. Write your own question and answer it.

A. Why would I hire the Trail Ticket Center? The attorney at the Trail Ticket Center has 13 years of experience and will make sure that no question remains unanswered for a client.
