Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. When children, as well as adults, feel the power of how confident and comfortable they feel when they learn the magic of manners & etiquette, it will change their lives. From making friends, getting the job, getting along in the world feeling comfortable in any situation...these are just some of the benefits of learning and enhancing skills of protocol. The power found in using manners, really just improving on the consideration of others, returns an investment that is like depositing pennies and withdrawing dollars.
So many people teach manners and etiquette, finding someone you and/or your children really connect to, feel empowered by, and learn from is the secret. It's not always how you "hold" your utensil, but how well you understand how your actions affect others opinion of you. Consideration for others is what I teach, and the etiquette and protocol for excellent life skills is part of the process. If you are aware of your actions, you are always able to affect others, using proper etiquette and manners, it will be in a positive way.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Etiquette Manor prides itself on personal, small and private classes. Getting to know the level of experience each student has allows us to really give a sense of empowerment and confidence after only 1 lesson. Real life situations are how our classes work - we go to restaurants and locations to get the most realistic training possible.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I like seeing students "get it", and feel empowered, knowing that they will leave feeling confident and better prepared to feel comfortable in any social situation.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Parents always ask, "Do you also teach adults", after they see how much their children learn through a class. Also, I am asked "Will I really have the skills after taking just one lesson?" and the answer is of course yes. It makes students feel that they want to know more, but have the skills now to go out and feel confident.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. Marketing has always been my life, for over 25 years. From building businesses and helping companies brand themselves to helping business target their audience, I decided to open Etiquette Manor - to help everyone. I teach students both social and corporate to be empowered and have skills that will get them noticed and get them jobs. Marketing yourself is all about presentation, and you have only 7 seconds.
