- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been an inspector in other industry sectors as well as the construction industry in my past. This came natural to me.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We do Home and condo Inspections for clients when they are buying a home and are under contract. We also offer Insurance Mitigation inspections and 4 point inspections for customers that are changing insurance companies are getting a new policy for a home they are purchasing.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would recommend to verify proper licensing, that they are properly insured and stand behind their work. Don't always choose the least expensive inspector. I have received several calls from home buyers who are frustrated because the inspector they chose did not spend a lot of time doing the inspection. In this business, the less you pay for an inspector, the less likely they will be wiling to spend time or effort doing your inspection. In this business you do get what you pay for. As the most expensive purchase many people make, Its worth the time and effort.
