Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Weddings and fashion.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Speak and meet in person if possible. Good rapport and vibe are keys to good working relationships.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. That anyone can take a picture. Not everyone can crate a photograph. Vision and technical knowledge are the components for the latter.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I tailor my jobs based on client needs and vision. I add my own branding to those needs and it becomes a collaboration.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love photography. It is my passion. I don't consider it a job.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How much do I charge. I tell them the the cost varies with the challenge, use time and location. Its neither fair nor right to charge the same for a photo that will hang in someones home versus a photo that will appear on a publication with 100,000 readers.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. Did it for a long time as a hobby. I was told that my work is professional in caliber. So now it is.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. A charity calendar to benefit animal services.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. I attend seminars and workshops by other photographers to keep in touch with the latest trends. I am also always checking other photographers blogs.
