The real proof of outstanding photography is in the final prints. Choose a photographer because you love their work, not their equipment. Classic images can last forever. Don't go with just the lowest quote when choosing a photographer, even if you are on a budget (you might regret it later). You don't go to a doctor and say I want this surgery, on this date, for this price... so don't do it when choosing your photographer. You may think that in this digital age, "why pay a pro when I can take them myself or use someone just starting out?"- when you compare photographs side by side, you can always tell the work of a master.
