    As far as the service itself provided by Spanish Solutions, it was outstanding. From what I observed from the times I sat to hear the interpreters, they were very good. In addition, Marcela was great to work with. Despite the last minute changes and challenges, she was always willing to adapt and find a solution. I think the fact that they accept credit card is a great factor, too. Overall, I am satisfied with the service performed and I will certainly recommend the contractor for further services.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. How many words can a translator translate per hour? 350 words.
How many words can a translator translate per day? 2400 words on average, depending on the complexity of the text.
How many words can be edited per hour? Approximately 650 words.
How many words can be transcribed per hour? 1200 on average depending on the quality of the sound.
How many interpreters per languages do you need for a conference? 2 interpreters per language minimum.
Why do you need 2 interpreters per language? Because simultaneous interpretations is considered to be one of the most challenging and demanding activities on the human brain. After 25 minutes of intense work, the human brain needs a break to recover and prevent exhaustion.
Why do some legal interpreters use assistive listing devices? To interpret simultaneously some portions of the testimony or to interpret for somebody who is not participation in the interaction.
