FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly working to develop my skills, in particular working with the Adobe Suite of software products to advance editing and visual skills. I learn from each job and from working as a team member with other photographers, videographers and filmmakers on freelance gigs.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up surrounded by filmmakers and actors. My Grandfather was a Newsreel Cameraman who filmed Lindbergh's take off from Roosevelt field towards Paris in 1927 and he filmed some of the very rare color footage of the D-Day landings in Normandy in 1944. He later started his own production company with my Uncle and gave me my early experience. I went in other directions, in the arts & theatre, but am moving back into my grandfather and uncle's footsteps by developing my own production company.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Certainly compare prices and the way a company will perform photography & video services, however I personally put great value into a connection with the client and realizing their vision. I want my clients to know that I thrive in this environment and really enjoy the overall process. It gives me great personal and creative satisfaction to see a project come together and I bring that energy to each job.
