The Right Occasion helped me when I needed it the most! I didn't have a videographer, photographer or a dj when I came in contact with them through a friend referral. They gave me connections to an awesome dj and a planner. They did both my wedding video and photography and it came out perfectly!! A+++ for them and I hope you say the same! These guys are professional and great to work with!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Our most common types of jobs are weddings and birthdays. We get requests often for these two types of jobs an luckily, they're our favorite to film!

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Even if you choose not to use our company for your occasion, make sure you're comfortable with who you are going to be working with. View the work they have previously done and make sure it's how you want your event to be portrayed.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. If I were a customer I'd like to know if there are any hidden fees. A lot of companies include hidden fees in their invoices that nobody knows where they come from. Our conpany tells you a price and that's it! No more fees; no hidden anything!!!!

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. When you inquire about our services you should know how many are expected to come to the wedding and know how you want the final product to come out. Leave the rest to us!

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Our work stands out the most for being all High Definition! Our customers expect the best, therefore they come to us! Repeat customers and friend referrals is the base of our business.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love seeing everyone having such a good time on their occasion. I do this for a living so I should love what I do right? That's exactly why I do it! I have passion for capturing the best moments and being able to portray that in the final product!

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. The most common questions asked about our business are about the prices. Our prices range depending on the type of event you're planning. The best solution for this question would be to contact us directly through email or call us.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. When we first started filming for weddings, we had a bride that was on a really tight budget. If it weren't for us being able to work with her on the pricing she would never have been able to have anything to remember her big day by. We eventually filmed the best day of her life and captured her smashing cake in her mothers face before her mother passed away 2 weeks later. She thanks us everyday for being able to capture one of the last moments of her and her mother together on HD footage!

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I picked up my first camera when I was 17. My mother got it for me for the holidays and I eventually went to school for videography. I loved it so much I started a company so I can do what I love most!

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. It was a very last second wedding. Literally! I was leaving a morning location shoot for another job and I stopped by the post office to send off some letters. While I was waiting in line, I over heard a soon to be wife talking with her mother. They were nervous about the next day, her wedding! The were discussing the rest of the things they needed. I asked them if they had a wedding planner. They replied no. I eventually talked with them enough to refer them to a wedding planner friend of mine to help them with the wedding tomorrow! I eventually found out they needed a videographer as well and they totally forgot about that! I gave them a flyer with my contact info on it and they called me that night and asked us to film her special day! We gladly accepted and made a stressed day turn to a happy stressfree day!

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Yes, I continually go to school for film and editing. I learn something new everyday to make your video that much better!

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Our company is moving in the direction of full service planning and executing! Right now you can view printable checklists for different occasions. Brides, grooms, event planners, groomsmen and just about anyone who's included in any event can follow their checklists online!

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Do it! I love everything about my profession. Make sure you like seeing other people happy. The events we film are occasions that they will reminisce on for the ret of their lives!
