Kim is very knowledgeable about the IRS and taxes. She goes over and above to what is expected to make sure she is processing the returns correctly. She is very thorough to be sure she is finding every legal deduction for her clients.

Professional! Knowledgeable! Taxes is not the easiest thing to understand, you obviously can tell Kim is very passionate and loves it. One of the best part about her Awesome service is she breaks it down so you can understand her! She does Personal and Business taxes. She will help with the tools needed to stay on course. Kim Bates is a true professional! She has helped my husband & I for the past 5 years with our taxes. I have found Kim to be prompt, knowledgeable, reliable and thorough. Her work is precise and efficient. I also appreciate that I don't get charged for time that is needed to study the tax law on my behalf. She usually knows the tax law answer. If not she would take responsibility for learning it, rather than charging her client for her education.

I'm so glad to have found Kim Bates to help me with me taxes. She was patient, knowledgable and quick to ease my tax stress. I'm impressed with how quickly she responded to my Thumbtack quote request and had the job done within the same day! (Maybe this is only because we are not too deep into tax season. ??) What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I only charge for the time that is required to complete a case. Your fee is based on the complexity of your case.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I study tax law everyday. Enrolled Agents are required by the IRS to obtain at least 16 hours of CPE's every year in order to maintain their representation status. Tax law is an ever changing climate and the only way to keep up to date is to study tax law cases everyday.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I like taxes. Crazy, I know. I have always been very good at managing money and I really do like helping others obtain the feel-good sense of being in control of your money.
