Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Palm tree pruning is our specialty here in southwest Florida! We refuse to hurricane cut palms and strive to prune our customer's trees to promote the health and beauty of these Florida favorite trees.
We are experts in the removal of all types of trees - small to very, very large. Safety is our #1 concern for the benefit of you, your property and our crew members.
Landscaping services allow us to showcase our design creativity and professional installation. We enjoy new landscaping project as well as renovating or upgrading existing Florida landscapes. From plants to trees to sod to annual flowers, we can handle all of your needs.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Look for experience when hiring a landscape contractor. The lowest price is not always your best choice. Poor workmanship or lesser quality plant or hardscape materials typically results in more expense down the road for the property owner. Licensing and insurance should also be a priority. Landscaping is an investment, just like a new roof, new appliance or a pool. You should view your landscape projects as an investment that adds to the value of your real estate and home.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Most people do not understand the labor that landscape work entails. Often people try to go the DIY route and find that the work is too much, too labor intensive or too hot, especially here in the heat of southwest Florida. Although plant installation, tree trimming, fertilization seems easy, landscape is truly an artform and it takes knowledge and experience to see successful results!
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Buyers should have an idea of what services they are looking for before they contact us. However, we are glad to share our experience and expertise in the industry and share our knowledge with our customers. When we meet with a potential client, our goal is to determine their needs as they see it, analyze their goals and develop a plan to meet their budget. We are very flexible in customizing a plan for landscape services that accomplish our client's goals, while working within their budget. If a client has a plan that extends over a period of time, we are very willing to work with that plan and accommodate their needs.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I personally love just being outdoors. I enjoy the satisfaction of improving the lawn and landscapes of our clients and viewing the end results of our efforts. From small landscape jobs to large, each improvement we make makes an impact on the landscapes of our clients' residences and commercial properties. It's such a pleasure to finish a job and walk away knowing we've made some kind of improvement to their properties!
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. Lawn, landscape and tree care services are very labor intensive. The quality and end result of our services depends highly on the labor we put into our work. That's why we choose to work with staff members that have extensive experience in the industry and a dedication to our company. Those who work with us have been working with us for 11 years and counting...

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. When I was in my college years, I worked for a non-profit organization that received donations in exchange for landscape work. Every year, we provided our labor for landscape services in exchange for donations to our organization. This is where I began to enjoy the satisfaction in improving a property through landscape services. Later, I met my husband, who had trained in the landscaping field, and we went on to open our own landscape business in Maryland. Through my work with our business in MD, I developed an even deeper love for landscaping and carried that enjoyment to Florida, where we now reside. There is a tremendous amount of satisfaction in changing a landscape for the better and experiencing the smiles on our client's faces.
