Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Being completely ready to be moved on moving day saves time and money in your pocket. Don’t be afraid to start early and be ready. If your doing the truck rental yourself we STRESS please for your own peace of mind rent 2 pads for every furniture piece you own and glass shelves and tables. You would not believe how very important this is to saving your furniture from damage. Across the street or across the country it makes a big deal. Don’t be cheap rent the moving pads. 

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. How much stuff you really have? When you moved in how big was the truck and how much more have you added sense. If you had to have more then 2 movers bring in a unit of furniture it’s a good chance more then 2 movers will need to relocate it.

A. Are you insured? YES we are and we post our insurance right on our web page for your connivance.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. That not all movers are bad guys. We work so very hard to over come that bad rap that many movers have left and still leave nightmares on customers who have passed on to friends and family their experiences. Check for references and ratings, make a few calls.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. Funny story.. I worked for UHaul for 2 years and my boyfriend now husband business partner would hang out on the weekends when it was slow. Sooo many people renting trucks would ask if I know anyone to help them move that day and I would point to him. So well after a few years we got real and insured and legal and well here we are moving forward everyday.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. Rick, We moved him and his family 4 times already this last time. I was lucky I did a walk thru because he had more stuff then I remembered. He calls me up we need 2 trucks 26ft going to Lakeland FL. ok but let me take a look. OMG it was a good thing I did the walk. He had no kidding 53Ft of a tractor trailer worth of home and garage. We used every inch of that truck. 18 hour day load & unload. :)

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. We go to conventions and keep up to date on new things.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Too much to get into at this point and time.. letsa pass on this one.. thanks

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. Just did a full service white glove to Woodbridge VA. Site unseen, it was a go in pack the house the car the motor bike everything. I gave him our regular loading quote and it went as planed but with packing you can only give a base start and supplies can run you high dollars. He asked that I budget it as best as I can use bags for clothes not boxes that can run $15 each. I would have come in very close to the base packing quote but the entire house ran 5.5 hours not a regular 3 hours that most will take. This guy had so much stuff to pack. But it went very well by the time the packers where finished the loaders were right behind them within an hour.

A. Do your research and homework get legal and have insurance.. A must have CYA
