- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The AmPm Professional Pet Service price structure is very affordable. We have rates per visit, packages, custom packages and more. Our fees are all-inclusive, meaning we are not going to give you a "low price" and then add for miscellaneous, everyday occurrences. Training rates are based on how many lessons are needed. We hold a 2 hour consultation-evaluation-lesson during our first meeting together. Our focus is getting you the results you want.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, education is extremely important to us. We are continually participating in CEU and attending workshops, seminars and other educational functions. We participate in educational workshops and programs for a variety of areas of services we offer including dog training & behavior, pet sitting, pet health, pet food and bodywork. We are also certified members to a variety of organizations withing the Pet Industry.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
While working in the corporate world my wife had a pet that needed care while traveling and working long hours. It was very frustrating to find the care we were looking for, that was capable of handling his medical issues and just be reliable. Because we both have a great passion for animals and were pet "hobbyist" we decided to make her dream a full time reality. Providing quality care that gives pet parents peace of mind while away is the best gift we can both give and receive. When it comes to dog training we both have a deep passion for connecting with dogs and helping them reach their potential. The most rewarding is when coaching both dog & owner and they make a connections. Pets are to be our stress "relievers" not our stress "creators" and that is our goal when we train. Our methods are positive while we incorporate a variety of methods as each dog and owner learns differently.
