Most of our students come from the Tampa Bay communities of Odessa, Lutz, Citrus Park, Westchase, and Land O' Lakes, but we also have many who travel from other parts of the Tampa Florida area, like New Port Richey, Trinity, Tarpon Springs, Oldsmar, Carrollwood, and South Tampa. Most of our beginner students take a 30 minute private piano, violin, or guitar lesson, once each week, from one of our degreed, experienced teachers, but we also have beginner, intermediate and advanced students taking private cello, saxophone, viola, voice, and drum lessons.

Mr. Tracy is an amazing guitar teacher. He is patient, encouraging and caring with my 9 year old daughter. He answers her questions in a manner that she understands. Mr. Tracy shows what he is asking if needed so she feels comfortable! Mr. Tracy has an awesome talent teaching my daughter guitar!

John has been a fantastic teacher for our children. His love of music is contagious; my kids actually look forward to lessons and practice time! He strives for excellence and mastery at every level but in a fun and encouraging manner that inspires my kids to strive towards the next level musically. Piano with Tampa Bay Music Academy has been a wonderful experience through and through!

John is an excellent music teacher. He has taught piano to our children for several years now. He has given our 2 "non-musically interested" kids a love for piano. As well, he has a gift for challenging and encouraging his students to be better musicians! I highly recommend him.

John (Mr. Tracy as my kids call him) is an outstanding piano teacher for everyone. He is extremely patient and knows how to peak the interest of little ones while helping them with their focus. They learn to appreciate and enjoy music. After having a great teacher before moving to Tampa, we were dissappointed with the quality of the teachers we interviewed or had trial lessons with... until we found John. He is an talented musician and gifted teacher.

I've really enjoyed the last 2 years with TBMA. I'm an older adult who hadn't sung since childhood, and my voice lessons with Kristen (who I will miss when she moves!) have greatly improved my technique and my range -- I can hit notes I never thought I could, and there's power behind them. The recitals would be better if more of the adult students performed, or if we had our own recital...?
