I love to design custom homes and unique spaces of any size and building type. I have more than 35 years experience in Florida.
I wrote the book on Water Resistant Design and Construction (published by McGraw Hill). Check it out!
I will design your new residential or commercial/government project, or review plans by others for a very reasonable fee. Some of my clients have homes designed and built by others - only to have water intrusion problems and they have contacted me for help.
I cover the entire state - or can consult anywhere across the globe. Call or write for a free consultation.
Question and answer
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Architefcts like myself can add more value to a project than our fees cost you. Curb appeal, quality materials and careful detailing can add curb appeal, as well as reduce repair and maintenance costs.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I draw upon my extensive experience whenever presented with an opportunity for a solution. That, combined with a bachelor and master's degrees in architecture provide me with the tools to do a good job.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. An architect is what I always wanted to be. I love the challenge in creating a cost-effective solution that exceeds a client's expectations. I love th drive past completed projects years later- and also like to maintain long lasting relationships with my clients. They often tell me things they love about my design after more than 10 years of living there.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. What's it going to cost me? That depends totally upon the amount of work involved. The more sheets of drawings required, the more work is usually required. Recent projecrs have been ranging between $800 and $3,600 in design fees.
