Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. The most common service that I offer my clients are hair care consulting. I have a lot of newly naturals that have many questions on how to take care of their hair textures. The most common answer to the needs of a natural woman is to moisturize. I recommend the L.O.C. method. Which the letter "L" stands for Liquid. You want a liquid base conditioner. ( a conditioner thats in a spray bottle) Letter "O" stands for oil. Perhaps a coconut oil or a olive oil. Last but not least, the letter C. The letter "C" stands for cream. I, myself, use a product called hair parfait. It is comprised of different butters and fragrances. Its and awesome product that I offer my clients to purchase.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Its everything i love to do. Which is to enhance the beauty/hansome in everyone that sits in my salon chair! i enjoy having someone sit in my chair , in fact I am honored that they trust me with their hair. We as women and men/children take pride in our appearence. I am just glad that I can contribute my skills to boost someones confidence and self-esteem. To have them leave happier then when they came is a goal that I strive for and accomplish!

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. The most frequent asked question is.. How long have you been doing hair. My reply is since forever...lol I styling my own hair started since sixth grade. Then i took a went to school for it in highschool. Then I started styling my siblings hair, then friends, and even some of my teachers hair. Even if I didn't have anyones hair to do, I would be in my mirror styling my own hair in hopes to book more clients. So then I actually started sstyling hair in my friends salon upstate. Which I loved! I started building my clientel there and pretty much the rest is history. Now I attend different hair shows to stay with the times. And I am loving every minute of it!
