FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on a myriad of factors including the traditional "who, what, where, when, why and how". A general rule of thumb: The quicker you need it, the more it will cost. The further away the answer lies, the more it will cost. The more exotic the problem, the more the solution will cost. The more difficult the the situation, the more a favorable outcome will cost. Most importantly, the more personal the problem, the more a discrete outcome may cost. If you have a defined threat, the solution to that threat will depend on several scenarios, including the intensity of the threat. If you have a general threat that doesn't differ from the general threat shared by everyone near you, the solution will cost quite a bit less.

When the Libyan rebels were fighting in the streets of Tripoli in late August/early September of 2011, the Rixos Hotel was under siege and was eventually taken over. Several hundred journalists were held hostage in the Rixos Hotel for several weeks. Our client, a well known International 5 star resort property in Libya near the Green Square was concerned for the safety of their British management and local staff. As a well-respected Security Consultant, our President was called upon by the resort to extract the Brits and secure the valuable hotel property. Once we arrived onsite, we conducted a through assessment of the situation and discovered the property was one of only two operating hotels in Tripoli. We were able to secure the hotel, provide for the safety of the guests and keep the hotel operational for the duration of the uprising, avoiding the need for the extraction. The client saved millions of dollars in revenue as the journalists from the Rixos eventually migrated to their property AND the UN Delegation stayed at the hotel for several weeks afterward.
