I'm a Berklee College of Music graduate who teaches Voice, Piano, Songwriting, Digital Home Recording, Mixing and Mastering online live.
All you need is a computer with a web-cam, and a broadband internet connection, and you can be learning from me today.
No commute! I'm a click away!
I have taught private music lessons since 1990. (Over 21 years!)
While at Berklee, I studied 3 Majors; Music Education, Songwriting/Lyric-writing, and Music Synthesis (Computers & Synthesizers), so I have a vast knowledge of many subjects, and have been told repeatedly that I have a gift for teaching. I am great at getting things across to people and making things clear and understandable.
If you are unsure about training with me online, I am willing to meet you online for free and show you how things work, and how easy it is. One of my goals is to make my students comfortable not only with me, but also with the technology. Therefore, I offer free tech support for my students!
I teach all levels and ages, and specialize in helping individuals find their self-confidence and personal power through performance.
You will not only learn how to perform while studying with me, but you will learn why behind the music.
My training turns out well rounded and versatile musicians that are able to jump into any situation and join in the jam.
Lets get started!
Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Check a potential teacher's credentials. Where did they study? How long have they been teaching? Are they willing to give out contact info of opted in clients to provide testimonials? Do they have feedback online from past clients? What style of music do they perform? Does their style match up with what you are looking for to learn? What is their personality like? Are they Positive? Negative? Bothered? Rushed? Pleasant? Enthusiastic? The chemistry of relationships are affected by these things.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. You can achieve anything you set your mind to, but it is always going to take time and work. However, that being said, with today's technology, it's easier than you think to learn to play an instrument or sing, and then write your own music, record it, and release it on the internet.. all by yourself. A huge record label is NOT needed any more. I do this. And you can to! I'll show you HOW... and more importantly, teach you WHY you should!
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. What styles of music do you teach? What styles of music do you perform? If you want to learn, for example, to sing contemporary music (pop, rock, dance, etc), you wouldn't really want to study voice with a person who has an operatic style of singing or who studied opera themselves. It's a different placement, and a different way of vocalizing.
