Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Creating original, one-of-a-kind artwork, which is never duplicated.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Find an artist or photographer with experience and by all means, look at their portfolios! Their work reflects their knowledge in their field.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. What particular style of photography or artwork they are seeking. I separate myself from the rest because I pay attention to detail, get creative and always make my subjects look their best, whether they have skin flaws or imperfections in some respect.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. My photography and artwork seems to be visually appealing as I have sold quite a few pieces and have been published in local magazines, and have also created artwork for national recording artists such as Robert Harris, Tony Wynn, Don Soledad and local artists such as Tom Hueston, Tfoxx and Cameron Brown.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The creativity and anticipation of the finished product. I love to make people happy and being able to create something that will be passed down from generation to generation.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Question: What is your medium? Answer: Digital art processed on canvas. Most can't believe it is created on a computer.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Alot of people are misguided when it comes to pricing. What is not taken into consideration is the cost of our equipment, maintaining that equipment, always needing to upgrade and learn new things, traveling, processing, booking and giving a really good end product is very important to professionals. Dont be fooled by those who have little experience who use point and shoot cameras. Ask to see their portfolios.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I was the sole staff Photographer for Runaway Country Music Festival in Melbourne, Florida, requested by Gary McCann, the promoter.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. I am constantly in a learning phase. Being a Nikon person since 2005, I have now decided to go with Canon as it suits my needs more than Nikon does.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. No complicated system here. I charge an hourly fee which includes basic processing without all the extra fees, such as sitting fees, processing fees, travel fees, etc. When it comes to artwork, that is different because it depends on how complex the piece is and if I am framing it. All my artwork goes on canvas and is original with my signature.

Q. What is your greatest strength?

A. My creativity will always be my greatest strength, along with making my subjects feel comfortable and at ease, which shows through in the end product. I guess I'm more of a natural photographer than trying to get a pose out of someone.
