Amber & Pedro are truly exceptional dog trainers. They are personable, prompt, and concise with scheduling, appointment times, and instructions for fast and withstanding results using only verbal praise and teaching respect. They treat our dog, Taxi, as if he was their own and provide him a loving home with lots of play giving us peace of mind when we need to travel. Their knowledge base and training techniques instilled the confidence we needed to be better owners and pack leaders. Canine & Company's costumer services is unmatched to others out there as they go above and beyond to take the time to make sure you completely understand the instructions and rationale, as well as timely responses if you have follow up questions/concerns in between lessons or after completion of a training program. Fabulous trainer, all positive reinforcement! He understands dogs and will work with you, the owner as well as your dog so both can speak a common language. I can't recommend him enough. Pedro and his sweet wife Amber worked wonders w our rescued pit!

I have worked with Canine & Company this year for my Shiba Inu, Maru. Not only were Pedro and Amber an expert in dog behavior they also are committed and patient to help me as new dog owners in understanding what it means to be a pack leader. They made themselves available to answer questions and go above and beyond to ensure the dog make appropriate progress and identify learning needs with me so that I can reinforce certain skills with my dog. I would highly recommend Canine & Company to any dog owners!

Pedro was very professional and kind to animals. He was always on time and even stayed longer than the required time. I was most impressed that he took our dog with leash on bike ride as our dog was lunging at bike riders. This corrected the issue, also showing how to care for our dog in the correct way without treats.

Pedro knows dogs! He & his wife Amber are a great team! Their personalized in-home training & guidance was a truly rewarding experience for our family. Not only was our puppy looking forward to their return, my husband & I also were eager for our next lesson. We hope to go further in our training with them!

How we work is we come to your home for a FREE evaluation. We like to meet the owner and see the dog in their environment and we like to further understand what the owner wants from their dog before making any recommendations or opinions. We want to make sure the owner and the dog get nothing but the best!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I am apart of ADPT to keep me updated with the latest news and training techniques.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had lost my German shepherd from a car accident when I was younger due to lack of obedience. I never wanted that to happen to me again or anyone else.
