Introduction: Winner of the South Florida PGA Teacher of the Year Award!! Originally from Greenwich, Connecticut. After giving golf lessons at several different Country Clubs around the country Chris now teaches year round at Boca West Country Club. He graduated from East Carolina University and played four years on the golf team D1 and was the Captain of the team. One collegiate Individual Title at N.C. State. Chris is one of the top playing and teaching professionals in the South Florida Section of the PGA. Chris has won numerous Section PGA events, and played in three National Club Professional Championships. Chris played on the PGA Tour ( Korn Ferry Tour ), best finish T23. Best Professional tournament round 64 ( -8 ). Runner up South Florida PGA Player of the Year. Chris has eight holes-in-one. A truly outstanding lesson. I’m a collegiate golfer and I can see this project going a long way. He was very deliberate with his teachings and at the same time giving praise toward a specific aspect in my game and or swing. For a golfer at my level, he’s not one to change a swing but make minor tweaks that will greatly improve your accuracy, golf longevity, and confidence as a whole. A great lesson to say the least and I will definitely be back soon.

I reached out to Chris here on Thumbtack and he contacted me the same day to schedule a golf lesson. I’m fairly new to golf and have struggled to avoid embarrassing myself driving off of the first (or any) tee. He observed my swing for a few moments and quickly provided me with a few tweaks that had me hitting straighter drives within minutes. If you’re on the fence about getting lessons I couldn’t recommend Chris enough. I’ll definitely be reaching out for additional sessions.

I happened to be in Boca for a day with a bit of time to kill and found Chris via thumbtack. I have been looking for quality golf instruction for some time and hadn’t spent time trying to find it in the greater New York area. Chris is a master instructor. He quickly adapted his teaching to my style of learning and zeroed in on the key reasons for my inconsistency. Given that I only had one day, he immediately suggested a 2 hour lesson, knowing that it takes time to learn something truly substantive. I only took 5 full swings (at the end of the lesson) after many iterations of shorter swings and each one felt better than most swings I have taken before. I am very glad I found Chris and will be returning for more lessons any time I am in the Miami area.
