- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The key to gaining business is to make everything as simplistic as possible for your customers. The easier it is for them to understand what they are getting for what they are paying, the easier it will be to gain their business.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly researching new developments. I am continuously talking to other professionals, looking for better and easier ways to improve my equipment. Marketing is also a huge portion of my education. I am always looking for ways to get my name out to prospective clients in the most cost efficient manner.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was about 11 years old I helped my Dad do music for a cake walk event at the school he was teaching at. During the event, several people approached us and suggested we start a DJ service. Two years later we started a DJ business and I have been doing it ever since.
