Introduction: We are a "unique" trail riding business, and we offer rides tailored to your group's riding experience. This is not one of those "one-horse's-nose-in-the-other-horse's-butt" trail rides. We will quiz you on your riding experience and your expectations and deliver the best trail ride you have ever been on. My husband Robert and I have years of experience with horses and will make sure you are on a horse that you can ride with confidence. One of the two of us or both of us will accompany you on the ride and treat you like family. When you book a ride for your group, meaning one to five riders, that is the group. We will not add other riders to your ride. Choose which park and how long you want to ride. Favorite parks are Little Manatee River and Alafia River State Parks, with rides usually from 2 to 4 hours. Or, let's take a lunch and make a day of it. Our rates are reasonable and affordable for the whole family.

What an experience riding with Kathy and Robert. They are very informative about riding and will help you understand anything you ask about riding with them. Everyone of their horses are well behaved and trained. I hadn't been on a horse since I was a teenager and when I found Kathy and Robert I was ready to give horseback riding a try again at 42. My best friend and I met up with them in April 2011 for the first time. They let me ride Rose, a mustang. I just enjoyed her so much, I ride her every time I go riding, she is very gentle and a joy to ride. My friend and I enjoyed ourselves so much we ride once a month or more with Kathy and Robert now. We have also brought a few friends with us on some of our rides. Everyone has a so much fun that some of them have come back with us to ride. Kathy and Robert really make you feel like you are a part of their family. The experience is well worth a try. There are pictures taken to remember your experience.

I met Robert and Kathy for the first time on Christmas Day 2010. I had purchased a gift certificate for a trail ride for my daughter and with potential bad weather in store for the date we had scheduled, they offered to take her on Christmas Day so as to be sure she didn't miss the opportunity. We rode again as a family in the spring of 2011. Now, we can't get enough of their beautiful horses!! They go above and beyond to ensure a truly unique ride suited to your riding skills. We now ride with them very frequently and my daughter absolutely adores their horses (as do I). The horses adapt to their rider and are well taken care of. Robert and Kathy are both beyond wonderful people and will go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your experience and continue to come back. Better yet, their rates are very reasonable. Riding with Robert and Kathy has sparked my love for horses again and it allows me to spend time with my daughter doing something we both enjoy. Ride with them once and I guarantee you'll want to return.........again and again.

Just came back from a 3 hour ride with Kathy today in the Little Manatee State Park. My three kids and I were out for the morning with her and had a blast. My oldest who is 14 yrs old has lots of riding experience and enjoyed the freedom to do a little of her own thing on the trails,. Myself and the other two children ages 9 and 12 are far less experienced but we still had a fabulous excursion. My 12 yr old son says that it was awesome....we finally got him on a horse and he loved it. Hoping it will entice him to ride more often with his sister!!! Kathy was a wealth of knowledge and had lots of very interesting stories as we adventured through the trails. Horses were fantastic even for a beginner! I would definitely do this again!! Definitely a great price as well!

WoW!!! What a wonderful relaxing and fun experience!! Riding with Kathy is like riding with an old friend. We have lived in Florida our whole lives but the view from atop her beautiful and well trained horses ranks as our very favorite time spent here and was absolutely incredible. Perfect for all ages as my 9 year old spent the entire ride smiling. This is not your usual trail ride as Kathy so enjoys what she does and there is plenty of time for exhilarating cantering as often or as little as you chose. :). The horses are the best we've ever experienced and Extremely well cared for, clean, and loved. Kathy thinks of everything to make the ride fabulous, from the water bottle waiting in your saddle bag, to picture taking and even sending you the pics afterward. We definitely will be back and cannot recommend them highly enough!!

Robert and Kathy are amazing horse people. No clue what the real term for that is! Prior to last spring, I had been on 2 trail rides. 1 in Hawaii and 1 in Lake Mary, Florida. They were both pleasant experiences at a slow rate and were great starts. At a private event, I was able to ride with Kathy and Robert's gang and it was amazing. We were out for over 2 hours and I felt safe and adventurous at the same time. Their horses all seemed to know each other and their styles and though Kathy and Robert gave us the tools to be in control, there was a sense of calm that we would be a-o-k! Since then, I was able to do some unique rides with them off the Palma Sola Causeway this summer, which was great. The last ride I did was with Kathy at Alafia. I got to go up a HUGE hill and she made sure I felt comfortable to take it before the horse ran up it. The horse was CLEARLY comfortable with her piece of the bargain! We are riding again soon with friends. I chose Kathy and Robert without reservation for a 10 year old's first ride because, as others noted here they are amazing at personalizing the experience, horse/rider.
