Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Make sure the therapist you are hiring is licensed! Massage therapy is very beneficial when done correctly. However, when performed by an unlicensed person, you can get hurt. They can damage muscles, joints and nerve bundles. Leaving you in more pain and discomfort then before your massage appointment. Always check a therapist's licence.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. A consumer needs to either know what forms of therapy they require or find a therapist who will discuss with them any health issues they may have, with the use of an intake form, to determine the most beneficial therapy plan of action. Things that will be decided are: preferred modality, amount of desired pressure, number of sessions, etc.
