I have been attending Joe McBroom's Birding events for several years. Can't remember if it was three or four. These events always start with a dinner/social among the group at Joe's beautiful home. We all check into a lovely local hotel where we are given a price break. From there the action begins. We are up before daylight every morning for various sunrises and birding opportunities and go until after dark most days; covering unique birding and scenic spots from the Everglades to Blue Cypress Lake west of Vero. Joe is the most gracious host you could ask for. He is always available to coach and encourage, answer questions, and open for suggestions. Along with stopping for meals and coffee along the way, one of the highlights of the trip is the world famous milkshakes at Robert is Here. After an early morning sunrise in Everglades National Park usually lingering on to late morning or lunchtime, we head for Robert's to order our own favorite flavor. Made from fruit grown on the premises, my favorite is Pina Colada. This group that I've been a part of these past years has become very special and dear. Though we are all diverse, we have great respect and esteem for one another. Not to mention lots and lots of laughs. I cannot say enough about Joe and not only his talent for photographing birds, but also his ability to get along well with others. He is a genuinely nice person whom I am privileged to have met. I know without a doubt that each and every member of our Florida group feel the same way. Joe also has a nice range of photographic prints he sells. Last year I purchased his Hillsboro Lighthouse.

Joe was the photographer for my wedding at the Sundy House in Delray Beach, Fl. We had a morning ceremony starting at 11:00. Joe arrived promptly at 9:30 to take getting ready photos for me. He was extremely helpful with all the questions I had, being this was the first time I have ever experienced a "getting ready" wedding shoot. Joe was kind and respectful to me and my entire family. ANY photo requests I made were granted with no questions or hesitations! My reception was done at 3:00 pm and I wanted beach photos. The plan was to do them directly after the ceremony, but Joe knew with all my family traveling in from far away places, he offered to do them the next morning when the light would be better and the beach would be less crowded. The beach photos came out incredible! At the wedding Joe was very accommodating to all my request and was beyon thoughtful when taking the photos. My wedding was on Saturday and on Sunday I had tons of photos from Joe edited and ready to share with my family!! I will book Joe again for any other event in my life that I need a photographer at. He was a pleasure to work with and as a bride who was completely stressed, he really made my day stress free. I did not have to worry about a thing the whole time. He was there for all the important moments and really took photos of everyone who enjoyed themselves. You can tell Joe is passionate about his work and takes pride in his images and his presence at the event! Thank you Joe for everything!!

Joe was chosen to shoot our cycling team that participated in the "SMART RIDE: from Miami to Key West.He is extremely professional, and easy to work with. He was able to capture the most amazing shots, with fantastic quality. I will definately use him for my future photography needs and highly recommend him

Joe is not only one of the kindest men I have worked with, he is one of the best! He was able to get every shot on my list as well as taking the initiative to find new and interesting shots. The photos were gorgeous, but working with such an easy, flexible, and professional person made it a perfect match!
