Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Helping customers find and purchase residential single family homes and condominiums both as primary residences and 2nd or vacation homes.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. As a seller has representation (the listing agent) the buyer should have his own seperate representation.
Ask the agent which party he/she represents. If the answer is the seller, the transaction or both it might be a good idea to seek out a buyer agent.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. We treat our customers like we would like to be treated. We accomplish this by presenting a friendlier, more positive, no pressure environment to our customers.
We're here to help the buyer find and purchase the property of THEIR choice, meeting THEIR wants, THEIR needs and THEIR desires, in THEIR price range without undue pressure by the agent.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Helping people find that affordable just right property when they thought it didn't exist and had given or were about to give up.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. A common question is... Are there any homes of a specific type in a certain area available within their price range?
The answer is that with few exceptions, yes. With the constantly changing real estate market you can find most any type, style and age of home within most any area and within most any price range.

Dave Jarvis came with a strong reccomendation and he certainly deserved it, because he was able to determine the type of house we would required because of a personal circumstance. Every house that he suggested fit our situation and that saved us a lot of time on a limited time schedule. He was able to help us negotiate the maze of details that is involved in buying a house today. If you are considering purchasing real estate in the Charlotte County or southern Sarasota County area of Florida, than Dave Jarvis (Realty Concepts Inc.) is your man. As a buyer's broker, Dave works for you and not the seller.
He fully understands the dynamics of the South West Florida real estate market, having been in business there for almost 30 years. His involvement makes purchasing real estate a much simpler process than going it alone.
I know all this because I retained Dave in late December, 2010 and by February 8, 2011 I had entered into a Purchase & Sale contract very well negotiated by him on a very nice property. As I write this, closing is just a few days away.
Dave's knowledge of the area and his local contacts are most invaluable. For example, the day after I signed the P&S, Dave had arranged for a home inspection with a licensed company, allowing me to be present before I flew home to my northern clime state. He also worked with me to negotiate the purchase of the home's contents.
Little things like giving me a "hot list" of important utilities and other home servicers such as pool maintenance companies and lawn care firms was most helpful.
As you can tell, I am very pleased to have met Dave and his wife Liz. I have referred other "snow birds" to Dave, one of which is just starting the process. That referral recently told me how nice it was to have met Dave (over the phone) and how knowledgeable Dave was on the market and the process.– Peter
