Hog / pig / coyote trapping and removal. Commonly Asked Questions: Q. Do you use guns or dogs to hunt down and kill hogs? A. No. We only use live traps and will remove the hogs from your property. Q. Will I have to do anything such as checking the traps and calling you if hogs are in them? A. No. When set the traps, we will check them everyday and sometimes twice a day, depending on the conditions. All you need to do is provide us property access to place, check and remove the traps, and we will handle the rest. Q. What kind of trap do you use? A. We build and design our own traps, and we have several varying designs which we use. We will use smaller portable traps in most cases. In extreme cases, we have the capacity to set-up semi-permanent traps wherein dozens of hogs at a time are caught. Normally, these traps take a couple of hours to set-up/take down but no lasting effects are left when removed and are extremely effective in the removal of very large groups of hogs. Q. At night, will you be on my property? A. In most cases, no. In the morning, we will check the traps. The sole reason we would stay after dark on your property is if we are still busy removing hogs which we found trapped during the evening. Q. Once the traps are set out, will you have the traps set daily? A. We will set the traps as often as possible, so as to remove as quickly as possible many hogs. At times, the weather may not be permitting or we have other obligations, and during those days, we won't have them set where they'll trap the hogs. Upon your request, we can also not trap on certain days. During the days when the traps are not set, they will still be kept on your property, but beforehand, we will latch them open and have them baited to keep the hogs coming, so that when we set them again, more likely, we will be able to catch a larger number.
