Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Business Cards, NCR Forms , Postcards and Brochures for most start up ventures.
We print allot of t- shirts and like doing the jobs nobody else wants to touch because of the difficulty level or creativity needed.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. If you are price shopping, make sure you are comparing Apples to Apples. Think about the future growth of your business, or organization not just the immediate need. Every time you go from one shop to another, you will most likely have to pay for set up and artwork all over again so do your homework, and hire someone you are comfortable with understands your needs, and can help you reach your goals. The cheapest guy on the block is usually too busy chasing peanuts to care, and may be running himself out of business while cutting our prices.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Passion and Commitment. When you love what you do it doesn't feel like work. This fact pushes us to go the extra mile with everything from artwork, to choosing the right finishing option on your business cards.Every project has it's own desired results, from a t shirt embellished with the latest foils or a van wrap that has to be seen from across a 6 lane highway. We are constantly trying to outdo our last project. We also use the best materials money can by, search for the latest fashions and stand by our old tag line " When Quality Counts!"

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The Challenge. Every day is an opportunity for new growth.Today's marketplace is very differant from the one just a few years ago. To survive you must be relevant, and able to see the new opportunities as they present themselves. Everyone is looking to get better pricing, faster turn around times and a guaranteed return on their investment.Any advertising properly executed is just that, an investment. Competitors that don't deliver proven results will find themselves out of business. We love what we do, therefore we live it, breath it and sleep it.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How much is XXX going to cost? My answer is always option 1,2 or 3. We don't believe in being pushy sales people. We want you well informed with all or the options so you can make a wise, educated decision. We have a product for every budget, but you do get what you pay for.
How long will XXX take? We always under promise and over deliver. If I think a project will take 3 days, I would rather tell you 4-5 so we are not in a constant state of rushing everything and you are thrilled when we are finished early.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. A 72dpi downloaded web graphic is not considered camera ready artwork.Neither is a pen sketch on a dirty napkin...
We only bill about 1/4 of the Art time it actually takes to complete most projects. So we basically keep an artist on staff to make us all look good.
Rush Job = Mistake in the making.
Every time we don't follow our policies and procedures it comes back to haunt us.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. Truth is... I wanted to start my own Clothing Line. Eight years later, a bigger house, bigger bills, a child, pregnant wife, 2 cats, 2 dogs, a hamster, some visiting pets, a string of employees, and a few bad investments, and I'm still serving the public. It's not ALL that bad, if it where I would've sold it a long time ago.I do still want that thriving worldwide clothing line, all in God's timing.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I recently hand drew and finished with CorelDraw and PhotoShop, a Semi Truck T Shirt Design for a large Truss Company. (A-1 Roofing...plug)
I put about 40-50 hours minimum into the design and the shirts turned out fantastic. The design looked like an oldschool Big Daddy Roth Style design from the 70's, minus the monsters, but definitely had the cartoon look with a big monster engine, blower and all coming out of the hood. One of my favorite shirts to date.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. We attend the yearly Apparel, Graphic and Sign shows, just to keep up with the latest trends, equipment and services. With all of the digital innovations in the past few years you really need to keep an eye on the technology as it's hitting and effecting the marketplace. We also attend Industry specific seminars and workshops to learn what we can from the pioneers in our industry. Sometimes it can even be fun, like a class we took last year on garment dieing and special effect printing.Yeah, we're still gearing up for that worldwide clothing line...God willing.
