By far the most knowledge of blending business with art I have ever experienced working with design people. I had no idea what my business was doing to my potential clients untill I had a sit down with Brett. I thought I just needed simething on my business cards, wow, were my eyes opened. Don't make the mistake of going with someone else, this guy knows his business.

Brett Anthony Designs has worked on various web design and graphic projects for my office in the past and has far exceeded our expectations. He designed our initial website which brought us increased clientele by providing us with exposure to the global marketplace. BA Designs possesses a vast array of skills that expand well beyond just web design. He did not just give us a product, he learned about the core of our company and took it above and beyond what we had expected. He has added tremendous value to my organization through various projects, and I am confident that he will do the same for any agency that chooses to work with him in the future.

    Best Regards,

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Photography is usually something you have to experience for some length of time before you really know what to look for. I myself had gone through several years of different photographers before I understood what was exceptional. Finding a great photographer is somewhat like finding a great hair dresser. They are just talented! Look at everything the photographer does. Look at their style more than their photos. Is their website nice, do they have the artistic ability to get you the photos you are looking for? These are the things I would look for

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. When I was a customer I knew exactly what I wanted because I think very artistically. This can be the most difficult part to grasp for a lot of people and businesses. Some people just want to have someone do everything for them, some want to have a hand in the idea and others know what they want and can convey it a lot better than others. I would say that customers need to know that a lot goes in to creating a great photo in this digital age. A photographer needs to be as good in photoshop as he or she is with a camera. Don't let someone sell you on how long they have been shooting or how many weddings they have done and so on. Just look at their ability to create a great piece.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. They questions here should NOT be... How long? How Many? What kind of equipment? They Should be, what is your style? What is the Vision? What would your ideas be? These kind of questions will give you a better idea of how your photographer will respond to the situations you need. Some photographers are young and just have an eye for a great shot. This can save you time and money in certain cases and overall is just better business on your part. A Mechanic shop that does lousy work can be in business for 30 years. It doesn't mean they do great work. It just means they have been taking a lot of money.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Have an Idea for what you are looking for. I would say the most important thing to think through is exactly what you are trying to achieve. Communication is very important and being able to convey what you truly are after is a tough challenge sometimes. Have examples of things you like that are similar to what you are trying to achieve. Ultimately you should be willing to put it in to the photographers hands and let it bloom. You are hiring someone for their creativity and ability to make you look great. Trust is hard sometimes but I think photography is one of the fortunate businesses where it is easier to be told what to do then to think of it yourself.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We stand out because our photos are top notch. The bottom line is you will be blown away by your photos and I think that should be the standard for any photographers. We started out this business from having to correct bad photos for people and businesses. Knowing someone paid money for photos that are just not where they should be is hard. We ended up correcting photos more and more for clients that hired us for jobs that had nothing to do with photography. This made us think, hey why not just take the photos so we don't have to fix them? And here we are today...
