Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Try to eliminate sub contractors, one of the bigest headaches for the customer is finding out there is a problemb with your new sprinkler system, and the irrigation contractor was not the well driller for lack of liscence and knowlage, offers the excuse "its the well' and then the well driller comes to check the well and says " its the way the guy put the sprinklers in"
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Pipeman inc does not drive steel pipe into the ground. wells installed like this have a relativly short life span. Instead Pipeman drills a larger diameter hole than the pipe to be installed in order to use p.v.c. pipe. this type of well will never rust away and pvc pipe is a localy made product, made right here in st. lucie county, not Mexico, or Tiawan.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I like to do a great job, when i install your irrigation i want it to help your lawn stay green so that i can come back and mow it, i love my job!
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I started working on large drilling rigs when i was 15 years old. my stepdad would let me work summers and spring break, i would work weekends, and sometimes skip school to work
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. Begin at a young age. Well drilling takes decades to learn to be proficiant. It is much more than operating equipment. Drilling a hole that will stay open long enough to install caseing into and grout is much harder than it seems
