A. My most common type of jobs is Personal Protection (a.k.a. Bodyguard), Private Investigations and Process Servcer.
A. The major advice is to make sure that the provider is qualified in this field and that he is licensed.
A. If I was a customer, I wish that you know that here in Florida that a private investigator has to be licensed and have an agency to work for. Also, you know that a person doing your personal protection (bodyguard) has to be a licensed private investigator and also have an armed security license (if weapon is required) and work for a private investigations agency not a security agency for long-term assignments. Check on the training that the person has, so many licensees have little to no experience in these fields, ask for the training and experience for that person. I have worked with some many personnel that call themselves private investigators and personal protection specialists and have not done a job, but they are experts.
A. My work stands out because I am trained in three areas that are needed to perform the services that I do. First, I am Reitred Military, Second is I am a Former Police Officer that has worked the streets (for streets experience), Third, I have training in Personal Protection with additional training as a defensive driver.
A. Providing what the client needs and come home.
A. What is the cost? What they should ask is what are your qualifications first and then the cost?
A. I would wish that customers looking for a Personal Protection Specialist or a Private Investigator they do a background on that provided. There are many in this business that have no idea what Personal Protection or even Private Investigator do.
A. I decided to get into this line of work while I was in the military. My last 5 years in the military I was the enlisted aid to General Officers, in which I provided his personal protection. My jobs in the military have always been in the service side and this is what personal protection for the major part is a "service industry."
A. My job that I am particularly proud of was finding the lost love of a client that he has been searching for well 7 years. He used all the public search engines out the web i.e. US Search, Info Data and many that I have not heard of. He first came to with the information that he had gotten from the searches he had done and with the little information he could remember about her. Such as name and last known address from the mid 1960's, which wasn’t much to go on? I used the information that he provided and started the search; I worked on it for about a month and came up with a little new information, but no concrete info. I forwarded the info to the client, but he wasn't satisfied not knowing where she was. Then I departed on jobs overseas and a year and returned. The same client kept in touch throughout the year and upon return he contacted me to continue my search. He explained that he had continued his search for her but to no avail. I retrieved the info that he had and started my search. About one month later I found her for him. She is happily married, having children and grand-children. So now the client can put closure to this chapter of his life and move forward. He is a very happy client that I was finally able to locate her for him. He was really surprised that during her life that he lived in some of the same Cities that he had lived in.
A. Yes, when I can find a qualified instructor!
A. My most recent job was out of this country. It involved many specialized trained personnel, from jungle training, helicopter pilot, medic's and special weapons. The cost for this job was about $100,000 USD. This job took about 7 days to plan and recon the land. Once the mission was activated (ground and air support) it was over within 4 to 5 hours to include the returned to the USA. No one on my team was injured and the hostage(s) was returned to their families.
