I have had a passion for older furniture and antiques from a very young age and have been doing restoration work all my life!
They are not making furniture like they used to and it pains me to see people throw good furniture away only to buy new furniture that has little to no heart in its creation...not to mention its value is cut to less then a tenth of what you pay the moment you receive delivery...don't throw your good furniture away just because its not the right color or it has a little damage...call me and let me re invent it for you at a fraction of the cost of new pressed card board! Older furniture has spiritual value and style you can't find at a show room selling mass produced junk from China or Mexico. Thank you and I look forward to creating your next family heirloom...
We are now offering onsite wood trim finishing for both new construction and refinishing for existing homes!! We offer over 2000 stain colors plus another 250 original stain glazes and unlimited faux finishes for any trim and wood panal motif...

Patrick refinished my kitchen table (with 2 leaves), 6 chairs, buffet, and hutch. It looks unbelievably amazing. It's looks better than I could have imagined. Aside from refinishing the furniture, he also made some improvements to the 6 chairs. His prices are fair and he worked quickly. In addition to delivering quality work, Patrick delivered dependability...he called when he said he would call, and he showed up when he said he would show up. I would recommend Patrick without hesitation!

Patrick is a master craftsman! His work is impeccable and his prices are fair. My mid-century teak Scan dining set looks fabulous and he also did a good job reupholstering the chairs. I would highly recommend Patrick for any refinishing job out there.

Patrick has done several jobs for me. I had a piece of furniture that I was told was ruined but Patrick fixed it and it is like new again. I was very impressed with his talent and fairness of the price

I called Creative FX this past December to refurbish my dinning room table and 6 chairs which were past down to me by my grandparents, they really were not in the best of shape as far as looking at them, however they were OK as far as the sturdiness of them. Patrick and his company did such a fantastic job making them look like the original dinning room set, that it blew me away. they look fabulous. i would recommend Creative FX and Patrick Dunne to absolutely anyone who needed there antique furniture restored. They do fantastic work,It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Last year, I had my daughter and grand daughter stay with me for the summer. I had the extra bedrooms for both of them. My Grand daughter got a hold of some markers and did her thing on one of the antique night stands of my mothers. to say the least, I was unset. I tried just about everything to get it off but couldn't.
Then someone told me about Patrick and what a magician he is with furniture, so I called him and he said he can get it back to the orginial condition. With the week, he return the night stand and I was so impressed. It looked better then new.
So, if you have a problem, I would be in contact with him.
He is very reasonable and the work is outstanding. If I have any more problems with reworking or refinishing furniture, I know the person to call.

Everyone that has looked my kitchen has told me they have not seen such beautiful work in a long time! I finally have the kitchen I always dreamed about and Patrick saved me so much on the cabinet restoration that I was able to add granite counters and new appliances for less the I was quoted by other contractors. I reccommend Patrick highly!

A. When you hire a professional especially in my field, bare in mind that years of experience apply and with every ounce of perfection there were 10 gallons of mistakes it took to get there...we may make it look easy and it may or may not take a long time to do an on site repair, but to get to the point where your qualified to do intricate work at someones home you have to have paid your dues in the field. Its an honor for someone to trust me in their home with their prize possessions.
A. It's no secret...no matter how long you have been in your trade , you must absolutely love and respect it or you will never be any good at it!
A. I love my work because I add life and beauty to everything I repair...I am passionate about my craft and enjoy seeing the look on my customers faces when they see the final result!
A. The challenge I get on a day to day basis, being able to bring a persons or families favorite piece of family history back to life.
A. How did you get into your craft?
I tell them my Step dad and my Mom rented an old house in upstate New York and it was furnished with all old antiques that were either falling apart or just needed a little polish and love.. so my step father and I would spend hours and hours in the basement shop making it all look beautiful again...since then I have been finding furniture that people tossed out or left behind and recycling it all over the country...
A. A big burly biker called me to take a look at these two dressers that his Grand parents left him when they passed away...they were in rough condition and you really couldn't see the grain or natural beauty of the in lay any more...he told me he had a few other restoration people look at them and they either gave him a really high estimate to repair them or flat out said they were unrepairable...when I told him I would do them and make them look like he remembered them and then delivered them as I promised I saw tears come from his eyes and he hugged me...that's the stuff that keeps me going even through these tough economic times! He told me when I was leaving that my price was less then half of the lowest estimate he was quoted.
A. One of the greatest things about my craft is that you can never know everything. There is always new ways to do things and new products coming out! So yes there is a need to update my education all the time.
