Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Make sure they are licensed and insured. Do your homework on the people you let into your world. Just be carefull get a few bids and go with the middle one or the guy you just feel right about. Have them show you the work they are going to do get involved with your project

A. Differance in the materials. They may look the same but don't last the same.

A. A old russian women who could speak very little english was so happy that I fixed her roof took ahold of my face and gave me a kiss on the cheek It was very rewarding

A. Just the hard work that goes into the roofing trade.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. Well didn't start out thinking I would be roofing 34 yrs Had a family to support then their continued education so they could enjoy their life
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. A single mother of four kids had to have a roof replaced for her insurance company and didn't have the money so we did it for the cost of the materials and threw in alot of extras
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. Yes I do this trade is always changing and I stay on top of all the new products to offer costumers the latest materials and new ideas in the roofing industry
Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A. The Roofing trade is always changing. New materials and materials are going green so it takes alot of keeping up with.
Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.
A. It was a tear off on a house with alot of deck replacement. The cost of the project was about 5,000.00. It only took a few days the home owner was happy we were able to get right on the job before rainy season started

A. No I don't, Mostly everything is a square foot price the only thing that really changes is the pitch of the roof and increase in material cost or the delivery charge
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. I would tell them to stay in school. Work with your mind and save you're body for when you get older

A. Vast knowledge of all type of roofs and many years of exp.

A. Cutting my overhead cost to pass the savings down to my price quotes.

A. Is there anything you would have like to have done instead of roofing? Yes probably a thousand but raising two girls had to keep the money machine rolling. But they truned out to be great women

A. Do you think you would ever move back to where it snows in the winter? No I have been in Florida so long I would die if the winter temps got below 40

A. What was the tallest roof you have ever been on? Well it was in Chicago and it was fifty stories with no edge or railing and yes it was scary
