I studied under Al Koehn and he is the vocal coach for anyone who wants to learn to sing for fun AND for the singers who want to become professional singers. I learned so much from Al Koehn. He increased my vocal range by 3 octaves in the higher range and 3 octaves in the lower range. I learned to sing all types of music from classical, to blues, country, pop and even big band standards. One of the things that distinguishes Al Koehn from other vocal instructors is the methods he uses to help deliver the song and how to interpret the songs you are singing. I will be forever grateful for all that Al taught me and will be singing well into my old age with my voice still sounding strong, in control and vibrant and won't lose ny range! If you are serious about singing, the ONLY one to teach you is Al Koehn! He is truly...without a doubt...THE BEST. I could have NEVER become the singer I am today without Al! You will NOT find a better, more professional, more motivational vocal coach. You will get much more than a technical vocal lesson...you will learn how to become a performer...how to "sell" the song...how to evoke the emotion of a song...etc. You will NOT be disappointed...call him...TODAY! I'm sorry to report that Al Koehn died in October 2013. He was a fantastic vocal teacher and coach, and a great guy.

Al Koehn was my vocal instructor and mentor. I trained with him in the late 80's through the 1990's. He helped me to discover and unlock the full potential of my voice, resulting in a 5 octave range. Al was a special person and a good friend. I know he made a multitude of his students feel the same way. I miss him very much.
I am carrying on his teachings now as a vocal instructor. In my opinion Al is the best there was. I can only hope to be half the coach that he was.
