Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Find a wedding planner who you are comfortable with and really listens to your needs and vision. Having a planner that is easy to get hold of and/or returns your emails and calls right away is important as planning your wedding can be very stressful for you the client and a simple response and answer can make a huge difference. Its important to have a planner that is well respected and known in the community. Reputation is much more important than a glossy website. A great party planner cares and understands your day is the most important day in the world to you!

A. Liz Smith has amazing style and taste. Liz has been awarded the Best of customer service for her ongoing commitment and high standards to her brides, grooms and their families. Junior League and long time philanthropist, Liz brings her talents, connections in the induustry, and her larger than Texas personality to her work.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love the relationships I develop with my clients. Especially being a part of their very big day. Whether its an elopment/vow renewal for two or a wedding weekend for 150 guests. Each part of the coordinating the special events is fun for me- just knowing the clients can enjoy the special events in their life with no worries about the details. Keeping it chic on the beach! Keep'n it chic on the cheap! I love being able to b challenged with creating an amzing and chic event on any budget. It's not how much you spend- I have connections in the industry that are amazing and we all work well together to give the clients the top of the line memorable event they deserve! I looove my clients!
