FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do. As an ACE-certified trainer, I am required to accumulate sufficient continuing education credits from recognized sources in order to renew my certification every two years.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I am an outcome-based trainer. My program designs are based on the most effective methods for achieving each client's goal, including weight loss, body sculpting, muscle and strength improvement, and flexibility. I also use the most effective techniques for correcting muscle imbalances, and continuing your post-procedure recovery if you have been working with a physical therapist. My boxing fitness training is a fabulous program, as well. See my website for information about each of my programs.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check credentials. Certified does not mean qualified. ACE, ACSM, NASM and NSCA are the most respected personal trainer certifications and reflect the highest level of professional preparation. Interview potential trainers. Make certain that he or she will design a program based on your personal fitness goals and not just some one-size-fits-all exercise program. Personal training should always be safe, but accidents do happen. Ask for proof of personal trainer liability insurance.
