  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

My husband and I work together. Jonathan came from a family of custom homebuilders in the Conn., NY metro area. I studied art in Sarasota and in Boston where we met. I was working for a historical restoration company and Jonathan had his own business of kitchen and bath renovation. We met and he introduced me to one of his clients and I ended working on their house doing decorative painting for several years. No job too small is our motto.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you hire someone with not only the skills, but the experience to use them correctly. Ask for references. Ask to view a portfolio of past projects. Make sure contractors are licensed and injured
