FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first session is always focused on making a plan of action. Making sure we make realistic, specific goals for the short and long term. Then I try to find a plan that will work well with your budget. I want to make successful but at a price that is manageable.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor in Exercise Science plus am certified through the American College of Sports MedicineI. I constantly attend workshops and events that add to my versatility as a trainer.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was an 3 sport athlete through high school (Cross country, swimming, track). I started doing triathlons in college, eventually leading me to pursue an Exercise Science degree. I actually started lifting weights in the gym my freshman year of high school and have never stopped since then. As I tried many other jobs after college I became friends with a coworker who had gained about 30-40lbs after he broke his leg. I invited him to workout with me, gave him nutrition advice and after about 3-4 months of working out together he lost 50lbs and gained great muscle definition. After that I kind of knew my calling.
