Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Most hypnotists practice "Traditional Hypnosis." This is an outdated modality that only works on a few people because we've all been trained to question everything and resist commands. Look for someone who is highly experienced at Ericksonian Hypnosis and NLP. These technologies that do not rely on commandments, so they bypass the natural urge to resist.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Hypnosis is greatly misunderstood by the masses. Most people think that the hypnotist has a special power to control their thoughts and actions. Nothing could be further from the truth. Hypnosis is a state of keen awareness where the person is wide awake and in control of their own thoughts and actions. You can't be made to do things that you wouldn't normally do. The hypnotist cannot make you do anything against your will.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. What types of hypnosis do you practice? What training do you have, and what professional certifications do you possess? How long have you been in this profession? How much experience do you have?
