FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do free estimates. My pricing is competitive and according to my experience and quality of the product.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process starts with a visit to the job site to introduce myself into the project Then I take pictures, measurements and ask all the questions necessary, investigate about the feasibility of the customer’s idea. Then work on a detailed and itemized estimate, where I name what is included and excluded. If the estimate is approved I then prepare a contract that includes starting and finishing dates, payment schedule, scope of work and all the terms of the contract.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In 1998 I started working for a company that would buy apartment complexes to renovate and manage. My first job was demo, little by little I started to learn and ask to be given more responsibility until I made it to the the capital crew. My curiosity and will took me far and when the company finished the last apartment, I was the last man left. Because there was no more work, I went to work at a manufactured homes company, building the foundations for them to set the houses on, I ended up being the one finishing the interiors. After that job and right before becoming a GC, I worked as a journeyman carpenter building new houses for 1.5 years. With all this experience I made the natural jump to become a General contractor. And I have work in residential remodels, additions and new construction since then 2004.
