Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Yard work and clean-up, painting interior and exterior, small moves needing packing or boxes moved. Tile setting, hanging doors and installing hardware on doors. We really get alot of calls once Spring comes along, for decks to be installed, wood fences installed and painted. All kinds of repairs. We also use other contractors to secure air conditioning units with bolted down enclosures to prevent theft of these units. We are always able to refer our clients on special needs.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Word of mouth, from previous satisfied customers is a great tool to use. Many satisfied customers, will be happy to share a good experience with others. Be cautious not to let people who approach your dwelling for work, enter your premises. It is wise to make an appointment for the work you need, with someone who has references and is based locally.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. We encourage our customers to do some research before planning home and yard projects. The more organized each client is, on colors and areas to be painted, makes our quote much easier. Whether they want satin or flat or acryllic also helps. Once the quote is agreed upon and contract signed, a decision on a date and timeframe is needed and all supplies on site and ready to begin, on the date to start. With a little orgainization, each project, will be completed in a timely manner and to the customer's satisfaction. We are always willing to help with questions the customer may have on appointments.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Be organized and know in advance, as much about each project and what timeframe, result and price range you are trying for. Do some homework and call around-it will help you understand the rates on such labor each time you receive a quote. We will never be a high bidder, keeping our rates affordable. At the same time, it is very helpful for us to have customers who are aware of pricing on labor. Our goal is to become your best provider of service for all of your maintenance needs for years to come.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We offer quality service in a timely manner, with attention to detail and affordable rates. We include many services for the household to assist homeowners as well as renters of all ages.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. We enjoy helping others achieve better home and yard maintenance and always appreciate your business.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How much will it cost me and how soon can you get the job done? We base our price on each project,as to how much preparation is required, how many people may be needed to be paid(we try to use minimum, unless it's a large job which is needed, in a big hurry, for an inspection or similar). We also consider, if we have to move furnishings or climb into high or dangerous areas or refurbish and repair first, before going forward. The least amount of preparation or complication-the lower the price-the smaller the job,the lower the price. But even on larger projects-we are reasonable and try to accomodate clients and their circumstances.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. We were asked to provide our services, because we are a smaller company and are well known by those with whom, we have already done business. Each project has been successful and we take pride in our work and also helping our customers enjoy the results of affordable home and yard maintenance.
