Detailed and transparent review: I booked for a move-out cleaning for a 3 bed, 2 bath home under 1700 square feet. I appreciate that they were able to come with one day's notice. There was a lot of work to be done, and they did complete it on time. I will say, however, that I had to go back over things they cleaned that were not done well. This included countertops, floors, and the sliding glass door (I paid extra for the inside to be cleaned because there was crayon on the glass, which they did not remove, and I still had to scrub it), and we had to spend about 15 minutes putting the refrigerator glass and shelves back together properly. Everything was in the wrong places, one piece of glass and shelf wasn't fully cleaned or replaced into the fridge. When I asked for things to be touched up on the floors, I was told she didn't have anything to use to do it with. So I ended up scrubbing up those places myself (which is why I hired out to begin with, being 36 weeks pregnant). There were stickers on the floor, a bit of crayon, and marks in the grout that came up easily. Upon rewiping the countertops, the cloth was brown.
I assumed a move-out cleaning would include wiping out cabinets, and I did request that on the intake form, but they didn't do that. I was told upon arrival that I would be charged $40 extra because we weren't done moving out boxes and packing supplies when they arrived, but I asked them to start in locations that were ready for them, and my husband came and removed those items while they worked elsewhere. In total, they charged $270 - $205 base fee, $10 for items my husband ended up removing the majority of (I was told it would be $40 more when they arrived, so they did reduce the amount), $20 for the inside track of the sliding glass door and $30 for the sliding glass door. I left a $20 tip. They speak some English, but not much. This presented communication issues, such as me telling them where the key would be hidden and them calling and saying that they couldn't get in.
This is the first time I've hired move-out cleaners. Myself and friends who have helped me in the past have done a much better job. I didn't take photos as I went because I didn't have time before the walkthrough.
