- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We decided when we got frustrated with unreliable contractors. We started maintaining our own yard, then we started to help some of our neighbors. The most satisfying parts of the job are seeing the transformations from "before" to "after" and when our clients tell us how happy they are with our services.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common services we provide are monthly lawn maintenance, yard clean-up and pressure washing. We have also done handyman work such as hanging ceiling fans, appliance installation and interior/exterior painting.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A few months ago, I got a call from a man who told me that he was tired of dealing with multiple contractors maintaining his yard. He said he was not satisfied with the missed spots of the lawn maintenance company, he was dissatisfied with the tree and shrub trimming company and told me that two his precious palms were dying despite having a contractor spraying his trees. I went over and saw that his yard was not maintained well. This elderly gentleman also showed me a crack in his lanai floor and asked what it would take to fix it. We explained that his maple tree planted very close to his lanai was the culprit. He said he was looking for someone who could "just take care of everything." We since have arranged for his large maple tree to be removed, pressure washed his driveway, sidewalk and lanai areas, removed a vine that was growing on his fence and house and painted the concrete fence and side of house. We continue to maintain his yard with cutting, edging, de-weeding and tree trimming. Current projects include arranging to have his lanai floor fixed.
