A. Our most common jobs include residential, office moves. Residential moves are usually apartment homes, condo's, high rise and townhomes

A. Are you licensed and insured? How manny years have you been in business? Are you listed with B.B.B? Do you charge by the hour or do tyou come to my home and give me a flat rate?

Me and my husband moved from Bloomfield Hills Michigan to Tampa Florida last spring and we hired The Smoother Movers. From the start I was a nervous wreck....Dennis ( owner ) of the Detroit location assured me that all of my moving needs would be met. They had the packing crew come 2 days prior to the actual move date. The packing crews were TOP NOTCH. All female staff that truly appreciated my personal belongings. The day had arrived for everything to be moved. I cried when the movers loaded the last piece of furniture into the moving truck. My husband and I raised 4 children in that home I explained...just then Dennis walked up and put his hand on my shoulder and said you have a beautiful home and I'm sure that the new family that moves in here will enjoy all the great memories you have had. I felt as if my heart melted. As hard as it was to move to our condo in Tampa just those little words of encouragement from a gentlemen that truly cared about his job touched my heart. The move went off without a single issue. A true pleasure to have been moved by The Smoother Movers.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. There are many obstacles in any business to overcome especially in the beginning when capital is usually low. Find ways to grow your bussiness without large costs or monthly overhead that can overload your companies monthly expenses. Some examples of this would include flyers, image or magnet on any company vehicle to advertise to your business base. Free online ads etc.
